✨Big News!✨
New Name, New Look, Same Commitment
A note from Kelsea Mills, MRC, CRC, CVE, CEAS I
We’re thrilled to announce that Vocational Consulting for Oklahoma is now Kelsea Mills & Associates — with a new name, website, email addresses, and the same trusted team behind it all.
I wanted to reach out and personally make sure you know about the changes so it doesn’t catch you off guard as you see updated paperwork, new URLs, and email addresses.
What does this mean for me?
I know this is probably your first question, so let’s start here.
In short: this means very little. This doesn’t change anything about your experience working with us. Our team, our process, and most of our contact information all remain exactly the same. Your timelines haven’t shifted, and any active or upcoming work will continue as expected.
New things you will see:
The only administrative change you’ll notice is that we are updating our email addresses to match our new domain. Our previous email addresses are set up to forward, ensuring we will not lose anything in the process!
Correspondence on new letterhead.
If you have an active retainer agreement with us, we will be sending out a supplement to it with the new information.
How Does This Help Me?
I’m so glad you asked!
We have divided the information we provide based on the venue in which services will be provided. There is information specific to:
Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation system, including information for injured workers, attorneys, adjusters, employers, and the Commission
Personal Injury matters, where you can learn about our philosophy, the retention process, and request a consultation
Benefits Specific to Workers’ Compensation Vocational Rehabilitation Clients
I’m very excited to unveil an expanded website with services. For each of our services, we have a page that can be sent directly and includes:
A simplified description of the service authorized.
Electronic access to all forms we need completed.
Driving directions to the offices.
Frequently asked questions (which get to the heart of the trepidation most individuals express when they begin the vocational rehabilitation process).
We’ve created these Workers’ Compensation pages with two groups of people in mind.
For injured workers: These pages are one-stop shops for everything needed. The goal is clarity. We’ve presented everything in plain, respectful language to reduce anxiety and increase understanding.
For you, the referring attorney or representative: We’re handing you ready-made language to help explain these services. You’re welcome to use our phrasing as often as needed. Plagiarize us! After all, we’re all working toward the same goal of getting individuals back to meaningful, appropriate work. We hope these updates make that process just a little bit smoother for everyone involved.
Benefits to Everyone
I’m very excited to begin releasing monthly blog articles. These will include my opinions on industry trends, best practices that I want to share with you, and success stories from the team!
What’s in a Name?
We wanted to give you some insight into why we chose the name Kelsea Mills & Associates and how we got there. This wasn’t a quick rebrand or a marketing refresh. We’ve undertaken a thoughtful process that took into account our values, our growth, and ways we serve you.
Growth
When I started this venture six years ago, I could never have imagined where we would be today.
This change reflects our expanded scope, national reach, and the values that have always guided our work: objectivity, clarity, and care.
Reputation
There is something foundational that we feel sets us apart within this industry. On the website, we say it this way:
Facts are our North Star.
Our mission is to get injured workers back to work in jobs that are safe and where they can be productive. We achieve this by using a consistent, proven methodology. Our recommendations are grounded in the evidence, ensuring a fair and balanced assessment for all involved. Our commitment to objectivity and impartiality has earned the respect and trust of administrative law judges, attorneys, employers, insurance companies, and injured workers alike. When you work with us, you can be confident that our evaluations are independent, transparent, and free from external influence.
Moreover — and I say this with some reluctance, because self-promotion is not within my comfort zone — the name Kelsea Mills does carry weight in this industry. It stands for excellence, objectivity, impartiality, trust, and results. It was time to reflect reality by placing my name at the forefront of the company’s identity.
Scope
The scope of my practice has expanded over the last several yearsfrom primarily just providing services in Oklahoma to serving across the U.S. as an expert witness in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, pediatric, and federal cases. Just as it’s important for my name to be on our branding for the Workers’ Compensation side of the business, it has become imperative that it also be front and center for my role as an expert witness.
Whether you're working with us on the expert witness side or have clients participating in vocational rehabilitation services, this change strengthens both branches of the business.
When you say the name of your retained vocational consulting firm, my hope is your colleagues, your clients, or opposing counsel immediately recognize the standard of excellence you’ve chosen to bring onto your team.
& Associates
Let’s not forget the “& Associates” in the new name! I work with a phenomenal team of professionals — counselors, consultants, and administrators. They likely serve as your point of contact.
I would love to add a few more vocational evaluators to our team, so if you know anyone in the market looking for a home, send them my way!
Let’s get to work
We’re already hard at work, and (really) very little has changed. We’ll keep doing exactly what we have been doing, just with a different name.
Credit
I have to give credit where credit is due. A HUGE shout-out to:
The communications firm Serif+Sway, which led this rebranding, website organization, and writing.
Mills IT Consulting for all of your technology expertise.
Mariah Nichole Imagery for the updated headshots
Questions?
When should I expect the new paperwork?
You’ll receive updated retainer agreements in the coming weeks. The only change is our name. Your terms remain the same.
We will send out an updated W9 with all invoices for the foreseeable future.
Has your email address changed?
Yes! But, you can still reach us using the same emails you’ve always used. Any emails sent to our former address @vocok.net will be automatically forwarded to the new @kelseamills.com so that nothing is missed. Eventually, we will have to say goodbye to the old domain, so updating our contacts would be appreciated!
Has your other contact information changed?
No! All phone numbers, our mailing address, and our physical office addresses remain exactly the same.
Who do I contact if I have other questions?
You’re always welcome to reach out to me directly — kelsea@kelseamills.com
You can also contact the office using admin@kelseamills.com — we’re ready to help!
